Over the past 50 years, U.S. pork production has reduced its carbon emissions by 8%. This progress is the result of more efficient animal care methods, advanced technologies, and streamlined processes that help lower overall environmental impact. At Martin Family Farms, we also better utilize nutrients from our farms—like using manure as a natural fertilizer to grow crops—creating a more sustainable, closed-loop system.
